  • I usually go for something like "I am somebody's son, imaging how you feel if someone else did the same toward your".

  • very sensible behaviour all round (from you)

  • Maybe not, Maybe "I hope your kids never meet a twat like you while cycling," instead

    Much classier. Thanks.

  • Terrible news man, fuck. Hope it turns up.

  • Day off, which I'd forgotten about. Wasn't happy about that.
    Tmw should be fun.

  • Howling tailwind on my way in meant at work on time despite leaving 10 min late. Boxers in my bag today, woo! Just over an hour n half till I have to face the headwind on way home. Why didn't I ride gears today?

    5/10.

  • MTB committing tyres are 2.0 kojaks all the way, although big apples are pretty good too.

  • Slow.
    2 close passes by lorries.
Managed to lose a chainring bolt somewhere along the way.

    Not the best - 4/10.

  • I hope you cant have kids? Too harsh perhaps. How about I hope you slip in a fish market and get a large tuna fish stuck up your arse?

  • And...some complete 1 million% knob in an artic carrying girders N on Archway Road overtook me on the downhill stretch to the E Finchley gyratory and then planned to turn left on me before completing the overtake. I was staring at his wheel arches at head height - maybe 20mph - nowhere to go. The most frightening game of bluff. He bottled and hit the anchors at the last minute. I hope he slips in a fish market and gets a large tuna fish stuck up his arse.

  • on bike after 4 days; LOT of phlegm but alright ride; hear rate was bonkers ..

    7/10

  • dat headwind

  • Slow plodding commute, wary of slick patches on the road in corners. Lower back pain making me miserable. Dark thoughts about how much longer I'll be able to cycle and ski. Seriously considering panniers.

  • Time of year maybe - I have those days. Old pains come back and everything is against - weather, others, sometimes my bike. Then the sun comes out and the pain goes and hey we're on!

  • Bike's been stuck in the office since last week mainly due to this poxy cold. Had to ride back last night else it would be there until the New Year. Crap slow, sweaty hard slog, poxy head side wind last night. Shouted at by Brompton man as he under took me at E&C roundabout only for him to then cut across everyone as there was a parked car in the way.

Then on Brixton Rd a French Coach driver couldn't decide if he wanted to be in the bus lane or the normal lane so drove in the middle at about 2mph with his indicators on. Sat behind as was unsure of what they would do next. Plenty of other people decide to chance it down the left only for said coach to pull left.

2.3/10 Bike now away until Christmas day...

  • Do. When my back was hurt in a left-hook incident, I stopped carrying locks in my backpack for a while (left them on the bike stands at work) and switched to a smaller backpack with just spare clothes in it. Moved any tools etc into a saddle bag. Helped a lot. Back improved, went back to normal.

  • Sick as a dog, but still on the bike.. can't see a bit of skin on me though!

  • Saw 14 magpies just hanging around on the path, no squirrels.
    9/14

  • Got a fucker of a cold so have been bussing it to work for the last week. Surprisingly quick! Would not do it at rush hour though

  • I'm full of the cold the now and on a day off so no commute to do.

    It sucks.

Last few days commutes have cleared a gallon or so of snot from my head before and after work. Today it's still all in there, dripping out slowly.

  • Headwind for 18 miles meant it took me an hour! A full 15 minutes slower than my fastest time. Admittedly I also went the hilliest way which all provided excellent headwind and downhill wind in face as you're trying to climb.
Then two twats of drivers just pulled across me so I got a little angry.
    Beautiful day tho.
    6/10. Would've been 8 without the drivers.

  • No..

    Because not enough swearing.

  • In a mates car, stuck in traffic, while all the cyclists are pissing past us. This is shit. 2/10

    #fuckingcyclists

  • Cycling down Vauxhall Street towards the Oval, bunch of school kids just hanging about on the corner. Turn left and one of the cunts (about 13/14) tries kicking me off to impress his friends. Doesn't get enough on it and I go off on my way.

This generation of kids are seriously fucking retarded.

  • I had a little ride / chat alongside one of these guys in the summer, though he looked a bit more pro than them three. I reckon he was holding 15mph as well as our conversation. Legs are a bit flaily tho, he took up all the room.
