  • What scares me about those (now) is learning that the TSA open every bag and have a rummage- and often re-pack bikes with a "that'll do" approach.

    I'd hate to pull my bike out of the box in Colorado to discover it's been mangled.

  • It was an interesting feeling seeing bike trundle off down the conveyer belt at bag drop off that's for sure. Like watching a funeral casket.

    Nice thing about the airnimal case is that there's plenty of room in it (it's supposed to have the trailer bits in it too, but I left these at home as I'm not towing anything) and the bike comes out / goes in in one piece. So should the TSA folks poke about they should be able to get it back in without any difficulty.
