Evans are opening in Westlegate Tower, the shops at the bottom.
Looking at what they'll be paying their staff i'd expect them to have somewhere close to zero cycle knowledge

Stopped in at Evans on my way home from the ride this morning - greeted at the door, and they had a nice rack to drop my bike into just inside, which was an unexpected touch. Seems to be catering to the pro-muters with it's choice of bits - a few nice bikes (sadly no Hoy track) and rammed full with stock otherwise, but almost nothing blingy apart from a BMC teammachine. I didn't see any high end components, in fact, the only thing they had in cabinets that I saw were pedals and lights - no Chris King, no Hope, there was one Thompson post - apart from that it all seemed to be in-house FWE stuff. I didn't look at the front counter, so maybe there was something there, but on first sweep it doesn't look like they stock any components, which is strange. They could be awaiting more stock deliveries, or maybe I just missed it, but I doubt I'd ever need to go there again saving a puncture nightmare (round the corner from work). It is good that you can buy online and then return in store now though I guess.
