I have a Stronglight Track 2000 crankset. The chainring isn't desperately round, leading to rather serious tight spots - I had to send the first one I received back. Wouldn't recommend them. Wish I'd just splashed out on something better such as Omniums.

Brand new omniums for less than 140 (with XMAS-5) code:

Will be infinitely better than Stronglight or Miche -

I found the stronglight had a thick spider and only cleared the rear stay by a mm when set up for the right chainline. When riding uphill it would flex enough to take paint off. I've seen a couple of people also have this issue but filed the spider back.
I've just got the unbranded Andels from Hubjub for £40 and really happy with them.

Hi guys! I'm building my track/fixie bike and i'm unsure about crankset choice... I will ride mainly on the road (possibly London nocturne) and probably on VeloPark track sometimes...
Which one between Stronglight and Miche would you advice? Which one do you think is stronger and stiffer?
Cheers
