I have two Global knives.
Long thin one has kink in blade from being dropped point downwards onto the floor (good job jumped out of the way). Short fatter one is one of my favourite kitchen knives, I can get a lovely edge on it, but there is a patch of what I can only describe as de-lamination on the fattest part of the blade right by the hilt. A big piece of metal came up like a blister and then flaked off, and it was all rusty inside. I scrubbed it with wire wool and continue to use the knife, but there is a discoloured "hole" in the blade about the size of a fingerprint, which makes me think that the quality of the steel isn't all that great.
