  • I vote for strong, cool pattern, reversibility, in 47, 49 & 53t sizes. In terms of competition there's only really the 44rn that ticks those boxes.

    The dinner plate 'ring idea is cool but utterly pointless for general use

    Once you've done this, another venture could be spiderless CX narrow-wide chainrings, they only really go up to 34 tooth for mtb and there's a gap there

    Whilst I'm here, there's also a gap for a narrow-wide ring that fits Shimano's new 4 bolt cranks

  • Fairly sure that's their mtb cranks

    edit: I should've clarrified, shimano's 4 bolt road cranksets. Unless they're the same bolt pattern?! which I don't think they are. Even then they only go up to 38t and most people would want a bit more on a CX bike
