  • Spectacular!

  • Thanks @edscoble

It doesn't feel real at the moment. Such a strange sensation this getting tattooed, at times I could have dozed off when he was doing the outline, the shading/crosshatching on the otherhand...

  • A total beginners question - do most (all) tattoos need touching up at some point?

  • They shouldn't do. Only one of mine "needs" a touch up but I quite like it how it is.

  • Looks awesome! For me it's the contrary, i find lining worse and shading easy! When i got my elbow done it was the other way round however.

@ExTra if you look after them during the healing process and protect them from the sun usually they'll fade a little after a good amount of years. But that depends on the quality of the ink used (Good places = good ink)

  • My newest, by Pedro Soos (guesting at Seven Doors)

  • @DethBeard, filler looks prefect! Pedro has such a classic style, can't beat good whip shading!

  • Guy le Tatooer

    (in progress)

  • Cookie Monster!

  • So I'm sure I read somewhere that Guy le Tatooer is going to be at Into You every last week of the month next year. Anyone know if this is true?

  • Yeah, I think I read it in this thread...

  • Ouch.

Just got a piece done by Scott Move, real cuffed with it.

Dry wiping, not so much (and he does it a staggering amount).

  • It's pretty difficult to take a selfie this way.

  • Shit!!
Really want a flickknife from him!

  • You got any more examples of hyper detailed work? The one you posted before this blew my tiny mind away!

  • Not sure what you are on about.

  • Got a question for those more in the know. I'm keen to get a linework tat done in blue or navy - is this a bad idea? Will this jeapordise the lifespan of the work compared to getting it in black?

And on a slightly related note, has anyone got any good examples of anchor tattoos? I'm looking to get something about A5 size, old looking, with straight cross hatched shading (like the picture of the eye, attached). The example of the anchor I've attached is in the same ballpark, but that looks naff.

  • ^ I saw that on instagram earlier, really awesome. I may have to go back to Andrea for something fishy.

  • Ah sweet, that was you Adrienne? Fucking sweet, really like that!

  • so this is my first tattoo in honour of my dearest mum, done just over 2 weeks ago...

am now thinking another one in the new year, any recommdation on artists good at doing animals? The guy who did my tattoo is fine, but I am heading back to London next week, so...
