Audaxing will probably meet your needs. You can take on distances as short as 50km all the way up to 3000km all run on as modest a budget as your comfort levels will allow.

The Great Divide Route / Race?
"The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route (GDMBR) is a continuous long distance cycling route from Banff, Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico, USA. As of 2010, the route is 2745 miles (4417 KM) long; its length is likely to change over time as the GDMBR is continually being refined to improve it. The GDMBR was developed by the Adventure Cycling Association (ACA) and was inaugurated in 1998.[1] A set of highly detailed route maps is available from the ACA. A guidebook has also been published."

So, a much cheaper, longer, unsupported version of the RAAM

Nope.
Why do you say that? Always wanted to go to Goa. Why not ride there? :)

You'll be able to sort out my VIP entry then. Nice. Have your people talk to my people.

She's done some of the big stuff. Crashed out of RAAM though, poor lass.
I'll have a read of the report later, cheers.

Such danger on the roads.
And I've ridden all around southern Africa and also Dubai and Doha, which have proper dodgy roads/traffic. You wouldn't get me on a bike in Goa. Especially a race bike. -
• #21
Hmm.. maybe I could just go there to lay on the beach instead :)
-
• #22
There is loads of acid and MDMA down there..... in Anjuna an Palolem at least!
You'd love it... -

Busy in April?
Mental cycling challenges for the mid life crisis (one last chance etc)
That don't need mega bucks and support teams but are sort of recognised. Something you can aspire to at your office desk without stumping up ludicrous depoisits to have DNF published a year later.
Do such beasts exist?
