Heading up to York this weekend with Fiona, and we'll get a bit of time in town in between seeing her family - @bengreen and @invertedcriss as experienced Northerners, anywhere we should check out?

York velodrome? ;) Other than that, there's museums, shopping places like the outlet place. If you were going to Leeds i'd be able to recommend some nice restaurants and stuff though!

I can recommend The House of the Trembling Madness pub and do a circuit of the walls if the weather is nice
