  • My 2012 Cannondale CAAD. I think it would look pretty badass on some GP4 tubulars, gumwalls, silver Record gruppo, square taper etc etc.

or some spec of this just Caad10 frame..

It would look terrifyingly rad or stupidly shit. I've pretty much got all of those parts, I might do it one day just to see what it looks like.

  • This is lovely. Awesome paintjob also!

  • Alright, as long you are talking about this era of Record it's acceptable, for a moment I thought you meant c-record (8-speed)!

  • These just popped up on my Farcebook feed:

  • Vive la France

    Vive la cool bike!

  • ^^ monster stem..

  • Savoldelli's Saeco Cannondale is lovely, with some non-Spinergy wheels it would be even better.

  • Saw this sell on eBay recently:

  • Picked this up today, going double spengles I think.

  • ...readers wives....

a friend of mine haz the same one in blue...

  • tt machine or HHSRB ?

  • HHSRB...

Or it may all go to shit.

  • "Has the UCI always been a thorn in the side of cycling?"

The UCI are concerned with the safety aspect of bicycle developments. When you have 200 chaps tightly packed doing 30 mph or so on some narrow European road or hurtling at 60 mph plus down the back end of a mountain the designs and materials need to be tried and trusted.

  • The second half of the nineties up until the advent of slopers was my favorite era. Sooo much bling! sooo much Italian gorgeousness!

And putting my scrutineers hat on, Horizontal top tube plus horizontal stem = correct.

    73 degrees is your friend.

  • Readers wives, my Once TCR.

  • The bar tape matches.

  • So I'm starting to piece together a build for this thing and I'm not sure how to go kit wise. It's getting a single front ring but not sure wether to go 8 9 or 10 in the rear. 8 would also let me run the disc as it's a freewheel. Thinking modern compact shimano crankset long cage derailur and a fat range in the rear (Austria).

  • You'll regret the disc in the hills!

  • Back to the cannondales/saeco. Just built this up.

  • The spingles will be the normal build. Going 8 just gives me the option to run the disc when I want.

  • That's really nice. Have you thought about destickering the wheels? Fancy a CAAD myself.

  • No, I'm liking the Zipp decals, match the frame perfectly.
