  • build quality seems excellent, the pattern offers grip to screw/unscrew it, it's shorter (as +salmonchild said) and you lose the ugly screw top part that cracked the glass (I assume). win!

I'm gonna have to claim warranty on the rDNA though as the miniUSB port has broken and I have to charge the batteries in the conventional way and replace them every other day or so as the device's charging function is (obviously) busted.

  • The USB port has gone on my DNA30 too, annoying but still works fine... TBH The USB charging is a bit of a fail, totally useless when you're out and about... I carry spare batteries and a screwdriver wherever I go... #vapedork

  • I clearly just tempted fate then, contact went on my mod again, just had to get the soldering iron out... Easy to fix but also bloody annoying...

  • yep, have added spare VTC4 and screwdriver to my pouch now... I liked USB charging... no need to remove the rubber sleeve every other day (which now feels a little stretched)

  • Rubber sleeve? Nah...

Looks nice that mod, bit spenny tho'... I thought I'd pushed the boat out paying eighty notes for mine...

  • the size and replaceable battery had me at hello.

  • It's very nice...

  • I managed to lose my vape again

so i just went out a bought a fortune of bits...

    including

just because baz luhrmann romeo and juliet

  • Very butch... I think I'll try and fix my Atmizoo Roller today... Poor thing's been sitting looking at me forlornly for months now...

  • Silly question, but have you checked that the 510 adjustable screw wasn't too deep for your ato on your roller? I happened on my Dingo and took me a while to figure out...

  • Just been given a vamo V5 with batteries and charger for free by a colleague. He's moved onto the Aspire Atlantis sub-ohm kit.

The aerotank mini will still be my out and about choice but it looks ridiculous on the V5. What's the best clearo for it?

  • You could just go for an Aerotank Mega; it uses the same resistances and, as far as I am concerned, delivers the same taste/performance.

I just bought a Eleaf iStick, and it's quite the amazing little device... I still use my mech mods, but the size and battery life are very impressive with a nautilus mini. Well recomended!

  • I think I'll get an aerotank mega as its the same width as the v5 and can use the same coils as the mini

  • Hi,

I am well out of my depth here and you all seem to be speaking another language. What is a good place to start? Do i need to worry abotu variable voltage? any advice very welcome.

  • Soz, I replied as you were typing. I will order a mega.

  • Another one with an eleaf I-stick here.....absolutely tiny, 20watts of giggajingles and lasts 2 days between charges for me. I've got an aerotank mini with a birdcage on it to protect it in my bike bag....it's spot on for me with vapemunki barbed custard..... Mmmn:0)

  • (Please Note: you must fully extend the cord when charging for safety reasons)

    lol

  • that confused me. Also the video which shows charging it in a bag is odd

  • Those bags are supposed to be made from fire resistant material so stop burning your house down

  • In other news i found my last Vape. I now have 3....

  • I am still unsure as to what to buy. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

  • Buy an EvoD kit, you'll get two batteries, two clearos, a charger and a few coils... Job done... Good starter kit... I recommend RY4 as a starter juice, maybe 12ml strength to begin with... Chefsvapour do Mom 'n Pop RY4, my personal fave...

    Google away...
