No need to cold set rear dropouts, it's a steel frame, xt hubs went in without too much struggle. Cheers for advice on forks, will find a stockist locally (probably keep pedalling manchester) and have a look at forks.
Thought about a new genesis, but I'm kinda glad mine didn't sell, they don't seem to be doing the 853 anymore. Will alter and ride the shit out of it.
