  • Saturday morning free again so I'll do my second Wimbledon Common Parkrun and see if I can push myself a little harder this time.

Bit slower, but I blame that on a slower start as it took a while to pick my way through the field to get amongst the people running my speed (need to get better about positioning myself at the start, still worried I might go too far forward and hold up faster people. I'm nice like that).

14min/13min split, will aim for 13.5m/12.5m next time if I can. A frost would be nice to harden up the course as it is very boggy.

80km for November. (Aiming for 120km in December if all goes well).

That's a big monthly increase you're aiming for no? General rule is increase in smaller increments to allow adaptation, reducing injury risk.

Not really. Not more than 10% increase in distance per week.

    1+(1.1)+(1.1^2)+(1.1^3) = 4.641
    (1.1^4)+(1.1^5)+(1.1^6)+(1.1^7) = 6.795

    6.795/4.641 = 1.464

With a few extra running days in December (compared to November which was weekend heavy) 80km can become 120km the next month easily.
