i work for the clothing company Forever21. You don't really have to care about that, as i don't, however we are in need of 2 new builders to start asap.
We do all the window displays and interior displays for the seasonal changes; roughly a new window scheme every month and a half. We look after the 2 stores in London, Paris, Amsterdam and from January, Spain and Munich. (a chance to travel to these stores too)
It's fun, it's a good team, friendly, relatively stress free, you get to be quite innovative with your approach to the designs and manufacturing (which are given to us by the head design team in LA) and it's fairly good money, a contract (shudder or smile), 28 days a year holidays and 4pm finishes.
It's mainly carpentry but metal work, painting, model making skills are of use.
I used to be a site carpenter; renovations and refurbs, furniture, handy man etc etc and did this job freelancing, but now i'm full time with F21 as we are growing as the European hub workshop.
I can't officially give you a link to the job as it again, has to be done by the LA borg and they are in the process of getting it internetted. But when a link to the job becomes available online i'll be sure to add it here.
The company isn't very good at advertising here (AGAIN, so much of the bureaucracy is controlled by the USA) and so it's a little convoluted. -
I'm putting feelers out here because i know there are quite handy, design minded and creative people here who may fit the bill much more than the people who somehow find out about our vacancies.
