No long term effects. I never had any swelling either, just massive pain, and i have a high pain threshold.
I too had fucking bueatful toned cyclists legs - that are now jelly like, but thats because i still cant run and take exercise, ive got another op next week, on my ankle this time!
Seriously though, no long term effects. Once youre on the injections, youre safe. The main bit of advice i took from haemophiia dept was to drink more liquids. I never used to touch water, now i try to drink a litre or two a day.
