They very kindly let my old band support them once... We drove up to Manchester in good time for the soundcheck, walked in with all our gear, they then asked us what the fuck we were doing there... Had forgotten we were coming...
They still let us play, we were scared all our stuff was gonna get nicked... Manchester in the 80s was no walk in the park... 3/10

Watched Inter Arma and Mantar over the weekend. Inter Arma are old (relatively) faves, but I had never heard Mantar before. The 't' in their name looking like a rightside-up cross made me fearful that I was going to hear some christian metal. That didn't seem to be the case however. A strong 2 piece (with phase shifted guitar substituting for bass, I think). I encourage you to watch them live if they show up in your neck of the nape.
All in all a strong show.
