I think if there's a difference it will be well below the measuring capability of a cycling power meter, even one twice as accurate as an SRM . You're trying to find a difference in a power loss which is only about 1.5% of the input power to start with, about half of which is accounted for by the unchanged side plate friction. If there's a difference that's down to the pin/bush, bush/roller and roller/tooth friction, it's likely to be <0.1% of the input power.
