  • I have the standard all weather ones, and I've found they're ok for keeping out small to medium amounts water, but succumb to downpours, and aren't amazingly warm either. I was out last Sunday when it chucked it down all day, and they ended up a bit wet inside, which then cooled, and became a horrible freezing layer - not ideal for such expensive gloves. I went back to Cotswold Outdoors, and the guy explained that when they get completely saturated with water, there's simply nowhere for the moisture from your warm hands to go (the principle that something can't be 100% waterproof and breathable at the same time) so the heat condenses, gets your hands wet, and then makes it a bit dreary. Not sure if the cycling ones will be any different - might go in for an exchange if you find them any better!
