No, there's a cycle path by wormwood scrubs which is prone to flooding. I'll definitely recce the route again closer to the date for those who want the feeder ride from Hyde Park Corner still.

OK we have a slight hitch, in that Santa Maria is currently closed for a refurb!
Not open until Feb - typical!
Thoughts? -

Anything else in the area we can squeeze into?

We could head to the newly refurbished Ealing Park Tavern for some good looking pub food.

It's a bit out of the main drag so shouldn't be too busy at the time we go, there's railings over the road to lock to and it looks pretty big. -

Drool at that menu. Do it!

Looks good. I might need a taxi/van for me and the bike after the meal though!
Definitely a lycra day out, for belly stretching properties :-).

That place looks great to me, and it's pretty much on my route home as well, if anyone wants to be lead back to central (well, Paddington).

Do we need a lead out list again? Hyde Park corner to Ealing Broadway. Start time TBD (once I've tested how long it takes me to do the whole route).

Sorry guys, but I'm not going to make it.
Have broken my arm and am off the bike so would have to get public transport there and back. Just google it and its 2hrs each way from home, plus getting between the golf and the pub.
Meh. -

Oh no, Tanya!
How did it happen (if you want to talk about it)?
Hope it's a simple break?
Listen to hats' expert advice on how to get the most out of doctors.

Is it by the river? you'll miss high tide in the morning by quite a bit, evening might be a bit sketchy though.
