2nd hand iMac that I can pimp is a good idea. Currently working off a 11" 2012 Air, which I love and is great for editing on the fly, but I've recently gone from 12mp to 24mp with my cameras, so when I have to sit down for a heavy edit, it's starting to feel the strain.
