  • Two guys I know bought in an auction 5 Laser pursuit pista framesets (National team edition) and sold 3 of them for an average of €4,500 (£3800) each.
The conditions where the same as the one Berlinetta is selling (not sold yet for a year already, hence the silly asking price).
Ghibli discs, SR cranks, 2A and LA84 won't cost €10k.
Unless he finds some rich hipster that doesn't know how "common" these frames are, this bike is going to be hanging on the window for quite a long time I guess.
Or maybe he just priced it so high so nobody actually will buy it and he can keep it as display piece.

    i call horseshit ;-)
    here's some recent sales prices
    8,000
    47,000
    19,000
    these are not 'common''

one possible reason cicli listed such a frame at a price is seo for themselves, i had a conversation with the proscloset regarding why they listed the futura colnago pista here
and they conceded for seo purposes

Ehm? I really know them, not hear-say or anything like that.
They are young, lucky, but honest guys. The same guys that bought in another auction a locker full of Somec pursuit (where mine came from).

These are the 3 Laser (SLX) they sold for the money I told you, and they kept the other 2 of the group of 5 for themselves:

  • And about the 47k Colombo Laser...

    • It's not a Laser
    • It can't reflect the real value as (RED) is a very big charity auction where things are paid without looking at what they are actually bidding at (look at the Sotheby's auction page, I laughed for days...)
