Like most young English players then?

He has talent, it's not clear if he has the application to get the best out of that talent. His ankle issues are also a cause for longer term concern, i.e. are they up to the rigours of top level football?

Talent alone is not enough but compared to his flawed character and lifestyle you'd wonder for how much longer are we going to label him a "talent".
