Will i be able to fit 35c riBmos with standard width rims on my V2 short ?
-
• #2354
Yeah his are super wide rims, whereas my Mavic A719s are only slightly wide

I've got a worn 35c left if you want to try it first.

@Sven04 had 35 and 38c on 19mm halo rims on his v2 short, it was right but fine.

Small issue...
I purchased some Royce / TB14's off @andyp for the Gangsta, lovely wheels....but, when offering up the rear I have noticed that the diameter of the axel is greater than that of the track end ?? not a lot (1mm or so)...If I sand / file this down am I going to run into issues with other wheels ?
As for progress, Matt now has the forks (V Brake bosses to be added)
New wheels purchased and Everything bar the seatpost is waiting to be fitted. -

The BMW BMX. Parts all salvaged from my old one. So much fun and the raw welds look ace!

Ah, thought you meant the BMW Gangsta light tourer, rather than that monster, no more info?

That is pretty awesome actually, that fork is perfect for my Gangsta!
Far too late obviously, but an obvious solution to my original cantilever set-up on the Gangsta, don't know why I haven't thought of this, they were predominated in late 80's MTB;

How much do complete V2s go for nowadays?
-
• #2374
well depends on the parts obv
haven't seen completes in a while but the dirt cheap V2 long frameset w/ 3 forks sold for £500 just days ago.
£600 would be my price for the V2, £700 if with V1 fork.

This one. It's not going for certain. Just testing waters as money is becoming a serious issue so this may have to go along with other things for financial and practicality reasons..
Anyone interested?
Mm raw BMX, couldn't resist ;)
Park Bike def up for sale now though if anyone wants...
