Was thinking I'd just go for the Condor Lavoro (but with a higher gi than the hire bikes) because I found it comfortable on the track and they also do a fitting service as part of it.
I'm kindof in the same boat as you - although I've actually already got a c2w quote from Condor (if my HR/finance department ever gets round to sorting it out) because I really like the velodrome bikes.
Did you walk into Condor and get the quote from them?
But yes, I've gotten quite used to the hire bikes now, that is another reason for going for the Lavoro. I'll be putting a much bigger gear on it though.
