Over three years ago I posted in this very thread to say I was riding in £5.95 Aldi ski gloves.
Since then I must have spent > £250 on cycling gloves.
Now the temperature has dropped again and from all the gloves I've bought, I'm back commuting in my Aldi gloves.
Gaze in horror at my haul - the evidence of my search for the glove that would leave me with feeling in my fingers:
