Royal London A&E is one of the best in the country. It's where the victims of 7/7 were evacuated to. By contrast, Whipps Cross is a struggling hospital that's been put on watch by the inspectors. I know which one I'd rather be at.
(Oh, and I have personal experience of the A&E at both of them - Royal London put my knee back together, and did a good job of it)
Hope the rider pulls through in any case.

Hoping for the best for this rider.
The main benefit of the Air Ambulance is to get a trauma surgeon and an anaesthetist to the victim very quickly. They can start to control the injuries and decide where is the best trauma centre for treatment. -

I had a horrible near miss on that roundabout, after which the driver wanted to attack me
Another major accident on Lea Bridge Road. Near Wood street. Air ambulance removed rider, though Whipps Cross hospital is only a few hundred meters away.
