Are the non-merino defeet gloves worth keeping? I ordered the wrong ones from prendas.
I have a pair of neoprene gloves for when its raining. Just after something to keep my hands warm.

I find they are fine for autumn and spring, but aren't warm enough for full winter. You can definitely wear the merino ones in temperatures 3-5 degrees colder without getting cold hands.

I'll keep hold of them and search for the merinos when it gets proper cold.

They are great gloves and pretty hard wearing. Worth keeping for sure.

I have the defeet non merino dura glove. I wear them with the sealskinz merino liner when the weather turns cold. which for me, is about now.
(the sealskins are a fiver right now at cyclesurgery)

What's the point of a glove you have to take off?

To be perfectly honest - if I've been riding hard my hands are usually warm and clammy enough to make a touchscreen work through a dura glove. Magnets etc.

Wearing mine today, not particularly warm but never too cold or hot, slightly odd cut and fit but not too odd.

Last night I wore defeet gloves underneath some planet x winter gloves I had lying around. My hands were not only too cold but I cut off the circulation to my fingers.
This morning I wore endura neoprene gloves, my hands were - guess what - cold and my fingers hurt. Luckily my toes were even colder to help take my mind off my fingers.
Tell me what gloves to buy next, oh internets! -

I've been thinking about getting some of them... Where can I get them for road bars?

Are any of your windproof gloves large enough to comfortably fit a liner under?
-
• #1422
Try the German online stores maybe. That's a cold place.
Surely you'd only use then for a week each year? (cue DayAfterTomorrow style freeze storm inc. ice wolves etc)

Has anyone tried the Galibier roubaix gloves?

Some fairly minimal Goretex mitts/lobster gloves and some super-thin wool liners or regular wool gloves (or both) has worked well for me so far. Circulation is fairly good, but with baggy mitts there's plenty of room to layer up inside for extra warmth.
