What would be a fair price for a mint canon g12 with the original canon leather case? Given as a wedding present but always still use DSLR. £150-ish? Anyone interested in one?

Anyone in waterloo/lambeth north area feel free pass through my exhibition with a few good friends , im offering free tea/coffee to forum peeps. Although I am showcasing dark room prints my friend Harry Conway is displaying digitally shot photos, all very nice imo. Bike friendly too, feel free to bring your bike in as its far from a white cube space.

I've been nominated for this black and white challenge that has been making the rounds on Facebook. I'm not a huge fan of these "challenges" but it was nice to spend some time going through my archives. I picked out this photo from Beijing taken in 2011 on one of my photography workshops. I really miss the ease and convenience of cycling in Beijing compared to Manila.

Beautiful. Were they made out of wood?

@tina.kino unfortunately not. They were made out of plastic like fancy and bigger versions of old BMX wheels.

Are 3rd party battery grips worth it?
I have a D7100, and the official grip is rather expensive.
Ive seen 3rd party ones for cheap (£30) worth a punt or not bother? Also, batteries, im more inclined to buy a genuine nikon, but are 3rd party ones acceptable? Any recommended brands?

Re batteries - I thought that I had seen that newer Nikon firmware now sometimes stops the use of non-Nikon batteries. AFAIK that was in relation to the D3100, and I'm not sure where I saw it though (Google suggests http://www.dpreview.com/articles/2823420050/nikon-updates-firmware-for-d3100-d3200-d5100-d5200-p7700 and http://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/52527090 I think)

I used 3rd party grips on a couple of Canon dSLRs in the past, they appeared to be direct copies of the OEM part and I never had an issue with either of them - I'd happily go that route again should the need arise in the future.

3rd party grips are fine, though I'd never trust a third party battery. Don't last as long so you have to carry more, extra weight. Sod that.

Thanks all, I'll get a cheap grip and an expensive battery!

This must have been asked millions of time, but since new cameras come out so often, I am gonna ask again.. any recommendation for a good camera for touring?? Not really have a budget as such, as long as it's a good camera, it'd be worth the pennies...
