Oh, and I've checked the bike over for rust...seems to be rust free

Does this have eyelets for mudguards/pannier rack?

@Geoffnotsle There are definitely eyelets on both the forks and dropouts in the pictures if you look close enough, but only one rear set rather than two, so if you did have both mudguards and a rack they'd have to share the same ones.
Hopefully this is useful advice from a random observer of this thread...

Very nice. With a little work it can become a lovely racer.

Bike sold yesterday!
Thanks Anidel and thank you Oxpoleon for your input !
**Now Sold ****
I'm selling my Raleigh Record Ace Competition Road bike.
Circa 1983
It has 531 c reynolds tubing
57 cm or 22" frame
CC (center to center) 57cm
TT (top tube) 58 cm
Vittoria Zaffro tyres
New Continental inner tubes
I don't know what the wheels are tbh
Weinmann brakes
14 speed
Stronglight crankset
Suntour dropouts
Shimano Front and Rear Mech
Guess it would be a nice fixie project
Soaks up road vibration like a gem so definitely a comfortable ride with an extra comfy San Marco Rolls vintage Italian saddle.
Rode all the way to Essex recently (50 miles), was raining so some dirt splashes, jsut needs a little bit of a good clean
One thing to note - The brake lever for rear wheel is really stiff, (been using just the front brake) not sure why but I'm sure it'd cost nothing to have someone adjust it at the local bike shop or one could do it themselves.
Hopefully this is enough info as I ain't supremely techie int he bicycle arena. I try.. :0
Any questions - I'll do my best to answer them
Pick up only please from Stratford, Westfield exit : £155
