yes, they are tied and soldered... should make the wheels stronger...

@SamJT .. Ernesto Colnago decided to crimp the top and down tubes in about 1981. It was apparently reported that early (presumably team bikes, as Colnago like Campagnolo worked very closely with racers back in the day for development) frames were stiffer, but there were complaints of instability at high speeds. In 1986, Colnago introduced the Master with Gilco tubing and crimped tubes were no longer ..

wow Peter, great to get some information in it's previous life!! thanks a lot, thats awesome to hear... yes, size is 56cm! paint is close to mint, there are some minimal scratches and paintchips, chrome is close to perfect!

your's look beautiful too, I really like the brown walls on your tires and the campagnolo chainring -> georgous!

sadly I can't find out who this rider on the left is, he looks to be on one of our bikes ;-)

did you buy it complete, or piece it together like I did? funny we both have the black stem, it must be correct, also showing in the pic

I bougt it almost complete... had to swap some incorrect parts, but otherwise just cleaning and polishing ;)

doesn't look to be a Mexico Pista though, no crimping in the top- & downtube

if Gian's should be too small for any prospect buyer, pm me 'cause I will part with mine for the right price. It doesn't get ridden at all, just displayed at shows.
