Are you too stoned to read?
The Orb - Adventures beyond the Ultraworld is a perrenial favourite of mine. Great with...er...some mushrooms....
And Ultramarine - Every Man and Woman is a Star
Oh, and Nightmares on Wax - Smokers Delight - top class
@mf - I remember Mo and Billy Boy complaining that a certain section of Chill Out was too dancey, and having to get out of their beds to have a dance - ha!!
Must get some Biosphere on the go, and Sun Electric O'Locco.....the Orbital Therapy mix parts 1 to 3
from the 2004 album Bicycles and Tricycles
YouTube- The Orb - Bicycles & Tricycles - 03 - The Land Of Green Ginger.wmv
Good ol' Orb, i quite like blue room, but it's feels like such a long tune but it's actually not.
I remember this as one of the first songs i ever listened to on my first ever PC back in 2001. Sitting with friends, drinking beer, lovely day.... ahh good ol' times.YouTube- THE ORB - BLUE ROOM (Original 12"Inch Version)
thanks for pouring acid into my ears.

Hello, repost police? Despite best efforts on the chillout thread, one of your officers is still not chilled out....

Dead Can Dance - The Host of Seraphim - YouTube
Dead can Dance, very interesting band, spiritually themed music with world music influences.

Today has been all about Kompakt style chilling
Wolfgang Voigt's Kulturinstitutionen project is stunning, a more limited palate than his Gas stuff, but rich deep horns and blurred noises. Though only 500 copies of it have been released.
Also the Pop Ambient compilations from 2012, 2013 and 2014. This whole series is utterly dependable, a very classic take on ambient music.
