What are the options for replacing a bb on an old Raleigh? They have weird threading right?
26TPI, rather than the usual 24TPI. I think the main option is a threadless conversion, but if you have plenty of money, making external cups in that size is pretty much the same kind of work as making the bling rings, which live tooling CNC lathes lap up.

I have a box of Raleigh cups in a loft somewhere - probably not much help to you, as it would take a month or two before I got round to picking them up
But - they are pretty easily sourced on ebay and other sites.
