It's always a nervous moment when I get stuff back from the machinist and offer it up to the application. Did I get my drawings right, or have I just wasted a load of money on some expensive scrap? Fortunately, this all looks spot on. The tool interface is lovely with my Campag UT-BB130, not too snug but with more engagement than BB cups. Thread clearance is a good match for the OE Campag lock ring, i.e. you can feel the play but not see it. Chain clearance may be a bit over generous, I could probably have slimmed it down by 0.5mm but as it stands it should be impossible to snag a rivet head even if you run 1R8 on a 3/32" sprocket. You might even squeeze a 1G8 in there if you're some kind of fixie-trixie freak. This is a pre-production one, final customer deliveries remain on schedule for ~1st December.
