I gotta say, surely you would never expect a frame to snap.
Frames still snap. It's usually fat people or couriers though so it's best to be neither of these.
Road frames from decent companies are increasingly warranteed for years (if not life). It's trickier if you're using a track frame on the road.

I have a pre-cursa and have raced it on the track for a season and now use it to commute on. They are definitely 'fit for purpose'. I love it.
However, if the opinion is that they will snap after three years riding on the road, shouldn't there be some kind of disclaimer from Dolan? Should I now get another frame for fear of the inevitable and, apparently, normal happening?
