Took delivery of something very nice, but more than a bit pricey today.
My they are light. The packaging is good, even by Rapha standards.

Would also like.
Also- race cape- how is this supposed to fit (in terms of lowest point at front in relation to idk- the belly button).
And why in Rapha stuff is small and medium the same length? -

Mine have been seeing real world use.

It was asleep. The climbers shoe is really good for creeping up on wildlife.

Very nice. Does anyone know how they fit compared to Sidi?
My Ergo 2's are coming towards the end of their life and I think this winter will finally finish them.

If you look at the right-hand-side panel on the website page for the shoe there is a comparison to different brands, I found Sidi too narrow for me but the Rapha shoes are fine, more like the Specialized S Works I had, in fit.

Ah, cool. Thanks for that!

How are the merino base layers for body length please? Is the fit guide on the website fairly accurate?
-
• #18316
long and in my opinion large as well. I have an xs l/s merino and s/s mesh merino and they are both plenty long enough for me at 6ft. They are both a bit looser around the arms than I would like - should have gone xxs.... (wtf!)

I'm a small in base layers and medium jersey (1.8m tall), length is perfect for me - doesn't bunch up anywhere and never comes untucked with trousers.

the fit like Giro shoes

That makes a lot of sense although I've never owned Giro shoes. It does mean I can pop to the shop and try them on to give me an idea of fit. Cheers!

Merino base layers are long but fit true to size. I prefer the fit of the Pro Team base layers though, they are great quality and last well. I would like to try out the merino mesh base layer at some point.

Thanks for the answers. Sounds like I'll have the usual fitting problems that come with being tall & skinny and having pipe cleaner arms!

You may find the small merino base layer fits you well, I have a long body and have no issues with the length of them.

Additional input to gabba vs PTJ:
If you ride cold, like me, you'll need a PTJ, as it's much warmer. I'm wearing mine with a light short sleeve base layer on long rides already.
If I was wearing a Gabba and armwarmers I'd be frozen. I guess a jacket ovr the top would sort things out though. The good thing about a gabba is the versatility if you go short sleeve and get some nano flex armwarmers.

Just get Giro Factors mate. I've heard those Rapha shoes are more or less the same thing.

With the current Rapha discount code the Climbers shoes are cheaper than Giro Factors
Achtung!
