Hamiltion may have made more errors because he was driving less conservatively.
Rosberg has a few notable ones this season, such as the unfortunate 'mistake' in qualifying at Monaco which very likely denied Hamilton pole. Also forgot to brake for the first chicane twice while leading the Italian GP when under pressure from Hamilton in second.
I was wondering the other day how many times they'd overtaken each other on track this season. Only occasion other than Italy I could remember off the top of my head was Hamilton passing Rosberg at the US GP a few weeks ago.
