Me too, had some great times in there. Dunno if that pub did but the Royal Oak had a market licence back in the nineties, it opened at 5am on a Sunday so you'd get refugees from that gay bar on Hackney Road and loads of space cadets from whatever club they'd been in. These bods were casualties, they were ripped to the tits on all sorts, you used to see mad stuff going on in there.
Face magazine were doing fashion shoots featuring homeless people twenty years ago, it was naff and shit then and still is.
