Are you going to suggest going to your shop for a free consultation on lights?

tested this tonight, superb design, very light, its battery lasts 5 hours and it casts a perfect beam for city and country riding. mount can be easily taken off the elastic band and fixed to the front fender as well.

If that owleye light has a similar beam/optics design as this:http://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/BF48L20BBLX1/led-bike-lights-80-lux-battery-driven-black-aluminium
Then it should be good.
I'm currently using the Philips light and although it is large and heavy for a handlebar mounted light it really does provide the best illumination. It does it without billions of lumens though (approx 200) but the beam pattern is excellent. It's like a car headlight, with cut off at the top too.

Yes the beam is pretty much perfect, long, wide and indeed cut off at the top. I wouldn't use it on a trail ride but for road use it's superb. so light and compact, not expensive either.

Any recommendations for a high vis/reflective rucksack cover?
Been looking at these two below, or maybe just a cheap one from ebay..

I bought an Exposure Flare front light the other week.
Straight out of the box the green light on the top kept flashing red when I was riding and then go back to green and then flashing red again, so I was never sure if the batteries needed charging or not. When they eventually died, I left them on charge all night, used the light the next day and it died almost immediately, charged them again that night and now it wont turn on at all. I've yet to attempt charging them again.
anyone else had similar problems or have I just been sold a dodgy light/batteries?

Charger doesnt even light up when I plug it in now.
I'm taking it back. What a piece of shit.
Hi to all. Please can we all grow up? Last nights way home i counted 27 bikes, 18 with no lights the rest doing what we all did as kids which was reversing your lights.(this seems to be a new growing trend) Please can we all now be responsible adults?!
