  • 70 miles in rain with merino base layer, Gabba/nanoflex and gilet was spot on. And mine was only £90... must admit I'm struggling to see when i'll use my PTJ this winter. Perhaps when it gets colder.

  • Heavy rain? What was the state of water in your shoes to put the amount of rain on the ride into perspective?

  • I'd use it as wearing armwarmers is annoying!!

  • I did a century in moderate to heavy rain in this get up (minus the gilet) a couple of weekends back and it was, as it always is, perfect. The thing that always impresses is the temperature regulation. Never too hot, never too cold. Which is my problem with the PTJ. It has to be down to 5 degrees and under for it to be comfortable. I barely wore it last year.

    TLDR - The Gabba is the most versatile bit of kit I own. Worth every penny.
