How are the HY:RD?
...and what do you do for a decent ride out of sing, get the ferry over to JB?

First discs I've used (your suggestion... Maybe Dammit's?) and so far so good. They will be tested properly next weekend.
Loads of club rides around Singapore, mainly fast loops 60-150km. For bigger rides with hills we go to Batam or Bintan - large islands pretty close by on a ferry.

Goddam I love this bike!!
Got abt 3.5k on her now, everything dialled in nicely. Points to note:
The instructions on the HYRD discs are awful! Took me ages to work out out there was a 2.5mm alan behind the reservoir that dials in the lever pull distance. Once I worked that out the brakes came alive.
This bike descends beautifully. Combination of archetypes and slightly longer chain stays makes it amazingly poised. Again it took a while, but once I found my perfect pressure for the conti 4seasons it really made a difference (95/108, front/back).
The enve fork is awesome, light, stiff and inspires confidence but I wish it had a little more clearance. I'd love to be able to put on some 30mm tyres for some of the rougher roads out here.
Geo is spot on... Go and get measured! Best thing evar!
Off to Taiwan in August for a weeks fast touring and china to rise around Qinghai Lake in 2 weeks. If the last 4 months are anything to go by this bike will bring many many years of joy...
Here are 2 of my four girls:)

So ... for your size how much the Frame and fork weighs?

If memory serves about 8kg. Not exactly weenie material but suits my needs perfectly, especially when she's wound up to speed.
saw the shot on the 'gram
