  • rhb's post was jokez I believe

  • Yeah I got that I just felt like saying 'nightmare'.

  • Thx. I notice there's also the Airy as well which is still minimal but with 2 stays. Currently my cheap rack (Tortec something or other) has a really convenient slot between the tubing and the top platform where I can slot my d-lock. Wondered if there was something similar out there.

  • I usually left a two or three Velcro cable ties on my D-lock to attach it to the rack when I wasn't taking my rack bag.

  • That's a blindingly simple solution

  • Quick question. Soma wolverine with trp spyre or Surly cross check with trp cx9?
    I know it's a personal thing, just looking for opinions on my options.

  • Both come in orange, just flip a coin...

  • You read my mind!

  • just uploaded these on another forum and thought they'd be appreciated here as well.

  • Very nice, always dig those Pacenti crowns, enough to have specced one on a unicycle even...

  • HA! Monster indded! How are you liking the Twin rail tyres?

  • Message me if you ever want to sell that!

  • What is happening on TT?

  • tight

  • @chak
    Yes, monster truck porteur = monsteur.
    I wasn't overly impressed with the twin rails the first time I used them, but giving them a second chance as winter tyres on wide rims.
    @Mheldring
    Not sure I'll remember so please remind me if you ever see me put it up for sale. :)
    @Ordinata
    Bulldog child seat. not nearly as nice as the yepp mini, but it takes bigger kids and take advantage of the dropped TT design of the frame.
    @noiser
    Tight clearance with 60mm tyres and mudguards, hell yeah!

    Still some upgrades on the cards before winter gets worse. I should make a thread...

  • Another great build, @drøn :-)

  • Does the Bulldog seat have better or worse knee clearance for the adult (compared to Yepp mini)? Any pics with it on? Cheers.

  • Nice one, drøn. @Motorcity - any more info on those disco panniers?

  • thanks a lot for all the nice compliments!

  • Still some upgrades on the cards before winter gets worse

    Some stainless bolts and black zip ties should be first on y0ur list

  • Hmm.
    The width is about the same, I think, but depending on the TT, the Bulldog sits lower, which means you have to pedal with the knees splayed out a bit (John Wayne). That's slightly uncomfortable, but it keeps you from banging the knees into the seat.
    It's also good for knee overlap that it's fixed to the frame so it doesn't change position when you turn.
    The Yepp is dead nice for a super stable steering though. Especially good with loaded rack.

    Let me know if that wasn't too clear.

  • got both in the drawer.
    I'll change brakes so can't really be bothered to sort the hoses yet.

  • Cheers, I'm already like John Wayne with the Yepp Mini (partner fine on her bike) but sounds/looks like Bulldog would be even more so, ta for link to pic.

  • Russ: I'm guessing now since I have no affiliation with those disco bags. But they look very similar to something that swift industries would make.

  • And @drøn I'm jealous! Rawlands make outrageously nice monsters. I wish they made them in 64cm :(
