Yes, sorry. Both war films set in Vietnam anyway :)
It was Beckton - the gas works, as seen in the background of the picture. They dynamited parts and painted it up with Vietnamese adverts to make it look like bombed Vietnam.

Like Hué actually. We studied Vietnam war photography Larry Burrows ie. in arts A level in the late seventies, if you follow me.

Some bits of the buildings were still standing a decade ago.
Filming wasn't just at the gas works but along many of the areas. There allegedly were still craters from ww2 bomb damage. But I took that with a pinch of salt.
