• Since I was sidewiped by a car earlier this year, I have been working on a cheap-o build to keep me sane while I could not cycle.

The build is basically finished, but then - DISASTER.
My nice campy downtube shifters' clamp snapped in half - see pictures.

Does someone have a similar / any band-on type friction shifters ? Or only the clamp?
Alternatively I am looking for a single bar end shifter, as I have one spare from an earlier build..

Also, If someone needs the levers / washers from my otherwise completely functional shifters, let me know!

    Cheers.

  • Do you need the front or rear bar end shifter?

  • For the front. Gearing is 2x9. Friction is fine

  • I have a friction (but with a ratchet mechanism) front bar end, one of these:

Bought it from new and used it on 2 x 8 setup for a few months only, and it worked nicely, it's in great condition. Say £5?

  • That sounds perfect!
Where are you based? I'm in SE London.
Maybe PM me, we can sort out a time to meet.
    Cheers.
