sold a frame on here a couple months ago. yesterday @Jordan's brother has started demanding a refund, and become threatening. its not something quite unlike this massive box of popcorn:
http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/249628/ CLP-threathening and seriously bad trader
but yeah im a bit confused and annoyed but he is basically saying i threaded the BB shell, however i know for a fact that i didn't and i would never try and mug someone off on LFGSS. the worse part is i didn't even wanna sell the frame really. Before pestering me he had already tried to resell the bike on here, asked numerous times if it possible to change the 24'' fork to a 650, if it could be drilled for brakes etc. it was all fine, he says he took it to a bike shop and they told him not to use french BB cos they are dangerous. i always used a french BB in that bike cos it was a french fucking lopro so the whole thing sounded ridiculous to me. i told him 'get a french BB, put it in. itll work' he says, "im not really on that, i just want my money back" im certain the bike was in good sellable condition when i listed it -it was working perfect the day i dismantled it to sell, what do i do?!? we have been going back n forth texting massive paragraphs but it can continue no longer. -

he paid the normal way-cash in hand, but hes not on the forum i dont think and it was the first frame he had got off there. if he said there was a problem a month ago when he first bought it i wouldn't be so reluctant to believe him. he doesnt even wanna try and put the bb in, or pay to get it fitted, and i mentioned @chickenleaverpuller as the guy in question happens to be one of his friends.

On the face of it, he sold it months ago why should he meet and go to a shop, and to establish what exactly?

How can the shop establish that?
-
• #3115
So it was for his brother, but then Jordon's for sale thread mentions that he (jordon) has changed his plans and is now looking to shift it.
Doesn't smell right, and taking a month to bring it up? >>>>>>

How the fuck is a shop supposed to establish who fucked up some BB threads. As the seller was aware it was a French BB, has used a French BB beforehand and advised the seller to do the same, I'm going to take a massive punt and say that the new owner most likely did the damage by trying to fit a non-French BB into the BB shell.

but thats only cos i posted your bike in antiporn and thus a completely unrelated topic.

First of all I was selling on behalf of him because he's a newby to the forum, and he changed his mind about selling it due to the fact he came to accept he didn't mind riding a 24" tubular wheel, nothing else. That's why he asked james if he could install a 650c fork.
@1000archangels ??????????
