I was in Belgium at the start of the year with some of the forum's finest. Even there I found myself getting really twitchy approaching junctions when I was on the cycle lanes because right turning cars would pull up to the junction mouths and wait for us all to clear the junction before turning. I couldn't shake off the feeling that they were just going to blast through - and that's even though I know that they have strict liability, and that we had priority, and that I was worried about something that just doesn't really happen in Belgium. And I was worried about that automatically, thanks to the glut of cunts in cars in London.
But yes, headphones with soothing music could work. I'll give it a try.
