The price to the customer is the cost of the item plus the cost of shipping. If it's too much, you don't buy it.   • Well assuming you're not running it as a service and offsetting against the overall margin, it can be averaged out over all sales transactions and added to the original item price as a percentage rather than a fixed fee. It's what they already do with incoming shipping costs.
