I can live with that.
Archway is grimy, when the tower gets turned into luxury flats and the pedestrian area comes in it should give the area a boost.
Drivers wanting to turn off Junction/St John's will be looking at a bit of a diversion though.

Yeah, the new square looks great, the owner of that pub should be rubbing their hands together.

I don't get how you join the new two way cycle track heading south from highgate hill, or get off of it to continue south down holloway rd.

yeah, you can't from those plans, you have to go round the East of the square through 4 traffic lights. So depending on the phasing that could be a long old journey around the outside.
HERE is tfl's effort at converting a gyratory to two way travel.
The central space looks great, the desire line cycle track running North/South on the closed wing looks good but it's a bit of a dog's dinner overall.
Maybe it's the scale used but it's hard to work out where you're meant to go at times...
