  • lovely. what's the rival 22 like?

  • Ooof @Dom that looks perfect! What are the wheels?

  • what's the rival 22 like?

Feels great to me! It shifts smoothly, precisely and it runs silently across every gear. It's only first impressions at the moment, but I'm very happy with it.

  • Ooof @Dom that looks perfect! What are the wheels?

Thanks! The wheels are 32h Novatec D771SB/D772SB hubs laced to Pacenti CL25 rims with double butted Sapim Laser spokes; wrapped up in 35c Panasonic Ribmo tyres.

  • Super versatile bike.

Did you use Lasers on the rear wheel too, or regular Sapim Race?

  • Mostly in the 2015 bikes thread

  • Sorry if re.

  • Courtesy of Mr Jordan BIGxTOP. I have nothing but utter praise for his craftsmanship. It is Seriously, worth every penny and more! This bag will outdecay a plutonium pellet! I don't see myself using any other bike for quite some time because it's that awesome.

You haz rack? You need one STAT!

    Thanks man. So very pleased.

  • More pics please!
    What rack?

  • What is the "standard" Tubus rear rack? The one that's steel but lighter than aluminium because of the way the tubing's manufactured by a very precise German man. You know the one I mean?

  • Light summer touring: What front rack for lowrider panniers and perhaps a small bag on top? Liking the price level and looks of Blackburn Outpost, even though it's alu. Surly Nice rack is second runner up, but a bit more pricey and probably a bit heavier. I am not contemplating a trip around the world yet. Just happy camping in the weeknds. Wut u thinks?

  • Need the platform? If not then Tubus Tara.

  • Blackburn outpost would be my choice.

  • I'd like the possibility at least

  • Thx. Based on my parameters? Or based on your experience?

  • Read around and looked at lots of option. They're meant to be good. Not used one as they wern't available when I wanted one.

  • Alright. I did some reading as well. I do not fear the alu cracking as it's dirt cheap to replace and I won't be in the middle of the Mongolian desert when it happens. An I really like it's style. I will go for it I think...

  • Needs moar functionalzy stuff?

  • No thanks. Nightmare.

  • “How very wet this water is.”

  • "How very short circuited the batteries in my maglight are in this very wet water falling from the sky"

I cant even tell what half the stuff on there is for. "anti-functional" thread?

  • Tubus fly? I have one and I can say they're pretty nice. I did have trouble to attach it though but it hasn't moved since. Lovely CroMo
