New here but familiar with the Marshes, worth spending a bit of time on the nature reserve, I saw a group of seals last time I was down there.
I'm still looking for a pleasant route from Barking onwards, although big bus lanes mean that at least it's uneventful.
There's a coastal path that runs all the way to Leigh on Sea and an offroad route that goes to South End, I've not explored either yet.
We have ridden down that way quite a bit but for the purpose of this ride will use the A13 cycle path then Goresbrook/New Rd. Drop down from Rainham to the concrete barges then make our way to Tilbury from there.
I rode the A13 back from Rainham once..
