I've been running the green Open Pave GC III 25mm (run at 25.5mm) on 23mm wide rims recently and am really happy with them - I feel very confident cornering in the wet at speed etc... just added some pdw guards to the bike and am so close to getting them to work, clearance is pretty tight so I've picked up some cheap 23mm Rubino Pro's on here (apparently run around 24mm) to see if sizing down will solve the 'just slightly rubbing on guard when seated' problem on the rear wheel...
While I wait for the new tyres to turn up, my question is will I notice a huge difference between the Pave and Rubino Pro? anyone know how greatly the tyre compound differs? would anyone want to buy a lightly used, 2 month old pair of green 25mm Paves? anyone have the 23mm version and want to swap?
